A little more about me

I am a Software Systems Designer & Developer and a DJ. I have over 8 years experience working as a Web applications and Systems Designer & Developer for open source solutions for businesses.

I'm also a Mobile DJ. A hobby I'm really excited about and enjoy doing as my extracurricular activity. I initially just did it for fun but over the years and with much exposure I gained more experience and became better at it.

I am very passionate about what I do and I always get into it with one mindset... to get it done and to do it well.

Working as part of a team of Dynamic Developers working together to Design, Develop, Test, Deploy and Maintain in-house software solutions that interact with various other internal and external systems. Currently specialising in API and Database design for web and mobile applications and services.
Systems Developer - Love Digital TV | SCCI Alphatrack Ltd
April 2014 - December 2015
Systems Developer for at Love Digital TV under the umbrella company SCCI Alphatrack Ltd. LDTV provide Digital Media (SKY TV, SKY Talk, SKY BroadBand) Solutions and installations for SKY. Working within a PHP/MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, WSDL, XML, JavaScript/jQuery environment developing, testing and deploying (in-house) software solutions to enable Management, Installation Engineers and Sales personnel to manage customer packages and details effectively.

Working as a Software engineer at Buddi limited - a GPRS tracking Systems Company with clients in the justice and healthcare sectors and also for vulnerable individuals like the elderly. Responsibilities included analysis of software requirements and producing well-structured software using PHP/MySQL for multiple Web platforms for various clients..
Web Developer - Touchnote Ltd
2011 - 2013
Worked as a Web developer at Touchnote; a postcard and greeting cards sending service built within a Zend PHP Framework. Daily tasks included bug-tracking, fixing and maintenance of the PHP based system service, adding new features and functionality from product specifications and requirements and also enhancing the existing features. Routine server-monitoring, service health checks and disk clean-ups. Liaison with the Mobile development, Quality Assurance and Customer Care teams and other (external) partner to ensure all processes were running well and efficiently, providing support as and when required

Worked as a Freelance Web Developer developing, enhancing and testing Web applications with Database backbends for individuals. My Hobbies

DJ-ing

Peoples' peak at excitement comes in different forms, and one such form for me is when i'm playing music as a DJ. This is something I do with passion and ecitement, everytime I'm behind the decks I am genuinely excited and I put in my very best to ensure that the audience fell well entertained and enjoy themselves on the dance floor. I have my own DJ equipment that I use for small to medium events and anyone can approach me if they ever needed a DJ. For more information please see my DJ section of this website.

Photography

I love to take pictures. I am not the most photogenic person myself, and as such I much prefer to be behind the lens than in front of it. Nature, scenery, built structures and anything that catches the eye (sunsets, sunrises, water waves etc.) is what I enjoying taking pictures of. I have no professional training/qualification in photography as it's just a fun pass-time hobby for me. The few times that I do take photos of people, I like capturing the ones that people do not pose for, because I find those to be the most truthful depiction of who we all are. Football

I grew up playing football as it was the only after-school activity we had, well the most popular one. We literally played 'till we dropped' as we did not have the luxury of video games at our disposal, and as such football became my biggest passion... even now. My favourite position to play is attacking-midfield and occasionally on the right wing (although I get bored easily on the wing). I'm a staunch Arsenal football club fan, in and out of season I remain a Gunner. Even at times when we lose badly and shamefully (like in recent years), I still feel very proud to wear my Arsenal shirt ~ Victoria Concordia Crescit. I stand loyal to to the Arsenal badge in victory and in defeat as I have been a true loyal fan from as far back as I can remember.
